‘Consumer conferences vital for quality products’


KARACHI: Speakers of 7th Consumer Products & Services Conference 2017 have said these events are vital for improvement of local products and services.

The conference was organized by Consumers Eye Pakistan, Consumer Voice MAG and Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan-IPO in collaboration with Consumer Pakistan, Dairy & Cattle Farmers Association.

Abdul Rehman, Commander Pak Navy (R), Engr. M. A. Jabbar, former Vice President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry FPPCI, Syed Nasrullah Deputy Director intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan IPO, Haji Shakir Umar Gujjar President Dairy & Cattle Farmers Association, Executive Editor Consumer Voice MAG, Rasim Khan, Quality Manager Metro Cash and Carry, Amir Shezad, FMCG quality Expert, Iftikhar Ahmad and Educationist, Amir Rafi were among the speakers of conference.

Speaking on the occasion Sindh Chief Minister’s Special Assistant on Information Technology, Dr Sikandar Shoro said the Sindh government was going to install 10,000 surveillance cameras at different location of Karachi under the Safe City project to combat criminal activities in the city. He informed that has signed MoU with Ministry of Industries and Information Technology of China for the establishment of an IT Industrial park in Sindh to promote IT in Sindh.

Umar Ghauri, Chairman Consumer Eye Pakistan in his key note speech said that TCEP has been organizing these Quality Conferences to make Pakistan a Consumers heaven and to strengthen the country on the basis of Quality, Productivity and Competitiveness for the betterment of Products and Services in Pakistan.
